Solsonica receives CEI EN 61215 and Safety Class II certification for its PV Modules Solsonica610 and is now ready for starting mass production
Solsonica S.p.A. is ready to start operations after obtaining international certification CEI EN 61215 and Safety Class II in order to sell its products.
After preliminary studies and analysis carried on by EEMS management in order to evaluate the peculiarities of pv market, Solsonica S.p.A. has made the suitable investments in technology, raw materials and equipments for approaching the market in a solid and reliable way and has now in place the proper capability to achieve the planned results in 2008.
The certification is the first concrete step for Solsonica in order to start its marketing and sales activity, both in Italy and Europe, for its PV Modules Solsonica610 series, ranging from 200 to 240 Watt.
Solsonica610 modules are made of 156mm x 156 mm square, high efficiency, polysilicon cells This technology is state-of-the-art, providing the widest cell dimension now available in the market with efficiency rates ranging from 15% to 16%.
Thanks to Solsonica’s cutting edge manufacturing technologies, these modules offer one of the highest power available in the market today, thus end users can assemble PV systems using less modules with reliable and effective installation cost savings.
Furthermore, third-party certification is both a quality warranty and a requisite in order to obtain the feed-in tariffs provided by the Italian Government.
As a final result, Solsonica is setting the stage for its massive entry in the PV market by providing real turn-key solutions with state-of-the-art-technology.
